These mahogany rose windows were for St. Thomas Aquinas church in Halifax. The glass was by Sattler Stained Glass Studio.

"We went in and took the measurements," says Bill Pyke. "I built the frames, finished the inside with base coat, then dark top coat and finally a clear coat sealer. The outside is finished white. All my finishes are from Sasco Products in Dartmouth."

Remarkably, Bill installed the glass without any adjustments.

Photos below are of the work-in-progress at Bill's shop.

These pine church windows are in a Granville Ferry house. The original glass was replaced, Sattler Stained Glass Studio supplied the stained glass for the two top traceries. Bill rebuilt the outside trim as it was rotten. The side windows are 3' x 9' and the center one is 13' x 9' and 35' up from ground level. A rented scissor-lift was a big help during the install.
